Whereas; There has been no demonstratable evidence that copyright law encourages anything other than profit; and
Whereas, Such restrictions dispropotionately benefit the wealthy at the hands of the poor; it is
Resolved; All ideas should be born and remain free. |

Copyright laws have just recently emerged and protect not property, but ideas. Prior to the 19th century ideas had remained free and unprotected. Capitalism flourished without copyright laws. |
