MessageEven though NPH makes his living on both stage and screen, he recognizes that the greatest works of art have occured when copyright was not available. Such restrictions disporportionately benefit the wealthy and force the masses to pay very high prices for material that should be available to them.

MessageCopyright isn't a property right, property rights evolved centuries before copyright and copyright law in no way stemmed from property law. Copyright laws have just recently emerged and protect not property, but ideas. Prior to the 19th century ideas had remained free and unprotected. Capitalism flourished without copyright laws.

MessageThere is no natural connection. Copyright protection grants and individual or corporation an artificial monopoly over an idea, which runs counter to the ideals of capitalism. Generally speaking, monopolies discourage efficiency and therefore are discouraged in most capitalist systems.

MessageYou said a free market country, not a western capitalist country. Western capitalism, and the materialistic culture it creates, should never come to Luthori, we must not let that immoral system in our borders.

MessageWell, the first world is the states with developed industry and democracy. A nation-state is a state that's borders match those of a nation, such a France or Italy. How would you like to redefine these?
