We are quite puzzled. Herr Althaus talks tough on trade unions, but in effect he is tough on corporatism. He is picking the wrong regulations to make looser or stricter. Making it easier for workers to strike, bringing the working hours under the government... these are anti-business, but they are not wholly anti-union. Quite a puzzling mix indeed.
