Bill: Change the Tax system

Details

Submitted by[?]: Party for a Democratic Socialist Society

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2161

Description[?]:

Let the big companies pay taxes, not the workers. A tax on goods is much more antisocial then a tax on profits, because the first one especially taxes people with lower incomes.

MessageYet another silly assertion. You think a tax on corporate profits doesn't affect the paychecks of people working for the corporation? If a corporation makes less money, who else do you think is effected? What do you think are the first costs to be cut?

MessageWe will not let ourselves been blackmailed by capitalists that threaten us by laying off people if they have to pay taxes. If the capitalists do not want to listen to the political decisions that are in the interest of the working class, there is always the possibility of nationalisation of their industry...

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
