Bill: Income tax proposal of February 3603

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partido Monárquico de Baltusia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3604

Description[?]:

The Partido Monárquico de Baltusia propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the República Democrática de Baltusia.

This nation is in a state of economic disrepair and on the verge of an economic collapse due to the ignorance and neglect of the Democratic Republic. This new system will not only provide for a more substantial income to better exercise the internationalist and reformist policies of the new government, but will place the majority of the tax burden not on the poor, but on the middle class and fairly distributes the tax burden amongst the people while leaving each individual with a more than ample income. Also, expansion of the tax system provides an already infrastructure to expand the capabilities of the Finance Ministry and set a lasting precedent for taxes in this nation. We welcome debate and opinions.

-Eusebio Olmos, Royal Minister of Finance
