Bill: Compromised Free Market Bill of 2161
Details
Submitted by[?]: Movement for White Supremacy
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2161
Description[?]:
While keeping in mind that the forces of the left, Most notably, SDU, did compromise with the LPD-LPP-CC coalition, on the issues of health Care and Education, Sam Walton feels that full privatization is not warranted. We feel that we cannot consciously act in such a manner, and fully insult such parties. However, the voters preference for Free Market Parties must be accounted for. Therefore, The Capitalist Conspiracy Under the Divine Leadership of Sam Walton, proposes that we allow more room for privatization, while still allowing for the lower class and misfortunate to be provided for. Thereby continuing a compromise, while still shifting a move to the right. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The education system.
Old value:: There is a free public education system alongside private schools.

Message | I looked at the health care one, and the law is set in the exact center (of the political spectrum). It would be stupid of me to change it, and start a hissy fit on that one. However, the education one is a bit to the left. I have my other privatization bills I will put somewhere else. |

Message | I'm pleased you want to keep a spirit of compromise, however I believe that some things need to be kept under state control, education being one of these things. So I'll have to vote no on this one... |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
