Bill: Cabinet Propositions Bill.
Details
Submitted by[?]: We Say So! Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2052
Description[?]:
To return the power of naming a Cabinet back to the Head of State. In the short-term this gives an advantage to the Party elected as Head of State (as currently there is no real advantage to it, except the Kudos). It will also reintroduce discussion between those Parties that the Head of State wishes to include in the Cabinet, as well as increasing the bartering power of those Parties in an attempt to gain a position (will become more prominent later in the game). However, should there be the requirement (due to inactivity of aforementioned Head of State) a Bill can be passed allowing the choice of all Parties to propose a Cabinet, but it will be returned to its current state after said Cabinet is established. |

Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The constitutional right and responsibility to propose a cabinet to the legislature.
Old value:: Each party can propose a cabinet coalition.
Current: Each party can propose a cabinet coalition.

Message | Add a clause saying that this can be changed to the current situation and then reverted in cases like the Rhino Party's - i.e. the Head of State becomes inactive before proposing a cabinet. |

Message | But I suppose we will vote no so as not to seem like a flipflop party to the voters seeing as we have voted against this proposal earlier... |
