Assemblée nationale Assembly Resolution: Congratulating the Équipe de baseball de Rildanor for winning the International Baseball Championship Ministre de l'Intérieur et Député Jérôme Letorneur (PN, Niraldonne) submitted the following resolution; Whereas the Équipe de baseball de Rildanor made the Nation proud and impressed fans around Terra with an extraordinary performance, winning in the International Baseball Championship ( http://classic.particracy.net/viewnews.php?newsid=408958&nation=27); Whereas the Monarch of the Rildanor and the Président d'Assemblée nationale des Rildanoriennes, Roi Jean, and the Premier Ministre, M. Vincent Aristide have personally congratulated the Équipe de baseball de Rildanor with the victory; Whereas Rildanor demonstrated that it can compete with the elite baseball programs in the world; and Whereas his achievement reflects the growth in popularity of baseball in the Rildanor and the importance of athletic participation for building character and confidence in the Nation's youth: Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the Assemblée nationale-- (1) congratulates the Most Valuable Player Edmund Anderson for his historic performance in the 3606 International Baseball Championship; (2) recognizes the Rildanor National Baseball Team head coach Evard Clark, the team's coaching, training, and administrative personnel; (3) authorizes the Premier Ministre to award cash gifts to the players and their coaches; (4) authorizes His Majesty with this parliamentary assent to award them each with a nobility title of Seigneur also referred to by dame for woman or sieur i.e. sir, followed by the name of their hometown, as in sieur de Tiralle; and (4) commends the Rildanor Baseball Association, the Rildanorienne Baseball Foundation, and coaches and parents of young and old baseball players around the country for their role in the success of baseball in the Rildanor. |
