| In order to cut government spending, we propose to decrease the amount of federal congresspersons from 350 to 230. We wish to reach across the aisle and garner cross-party support for this proposal. The Socialists will vote in favour of the next bill the Conservatives propose, if they support this amendment. However, such a bill may not contain more than two articles, and may not be treaty endorsements. We will not repeal those two laws within this or the next Congressional term, should the Conservatives accept our offer. |
