Bill: Government Reform Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Democrats

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 3616

Description[?]:

This bill shall reform the current government hierarchy. The people of Aloria find it unfair that they cannot vote for their government as the officials they've elected are not eligible for any position in the cabinet, only in the People's Assemble. This is due to the current setup where only the Kaiser can choose the Cabinet. This must change in order to give the people the power to elect officials to cabinet.

The Kaiser shall remain the Head of State - but he shall have to work alongside an elected government, not just cabinet members who he has personally chosen.

We call out to our colleagues in the shadow party to support this bill so that both of our parties have an opportunity at forming a cabinet.

MessageWe urge that the Hosian Democratic Party support this bill and will vote with us once this bill is taken to the voting process. This is the most important bill for over half a century in this nations history - being the first time since 3588 where the people will be allowed to elect a party that can form their own cabinet.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
