| Message | 65 years is a very reasonable retirement age. When the Conservative Party first came into existence the age was actually 67 years old. If people are living to be 90, 95, and even 100 years old we must change our retirement age to accommodate this. We simply can not afford to pay retirement benefits for 33 years without a large increase in taxes. Increasing the age by three years will ultimately end up saving the government and the taxpayers a lot of money. |
