Bill: great deal II
Details
Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 3621
Description[?]:
Our party would like to investigate the possibility of establishing some trade network. Would it, on the long term, be interesting to supply aid to some of our neighbouring countries in need in return for trading rights? We would actually be 'buying' those rights, in order to support our economy and our corporations. We would regain some, or all, of that money through national taxes. We inquire the department of Finance to consider making a pro/contra-report, so that we could take this possibility under consideration in debate. We understand the tremendous amount of work the department has, so we would like to add that this proposition is just changing thoughts, with the chance to get to a structural, well-balanced proposal. This is not a toppriority. Awaiting your answer, Marc Pierson P&A |

Message | This is up to a vote in the Foreign Policy Committee. Members should note, however, that the current stance would make us seem like a father-figure in the world, while this proposed new stance would make us seem selfish. As Nationalists, we support either policy, awaiting the vote in the Foreign Policy Committee: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=401759 -- Conrad Cooper, Foreign Minister |
