The Monarch is the nominal Commander in Chief of the AFA, however in reality the Royal Federal President and the Chancellor make most military policy. The force is divided by duty as such: Alorian Royal Army, Alorian Royal Navy, Alorian Royal Air Force, and the Alorian Royal Civil Guard. The Civil Guard is the organized national militia and is considered the last line of defense for the nation.
