Bill: Wildtiergesetz 3622

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nationales Bürgerforum (NBF)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3622

Description[?]:

An Act to permit animal testing and the hunting of endangered animals in limited circumstances

Herr Präsident, it is grotesquely immoral to subordinate the welfare of human beings to those of animals. We're all for animals being treated humanely, but sometimes the benefits which may be obtained from the testing of animals, which may involve the killing of endangered animals, are too great to forsake.

MessageHerr Präsident,

We could support animal research in very limited and tightly-defined circumstances, but we cannot support the legalisation of hunting endangered animals. This would be disastrous, and would hinder the global movement towards ensuring the survival of protected species.

MessageHerr Präsident, nobody is proposing allowing people to shoot endangered animals whenever and wherever they choose, but in strict circumstances, the hunting of small numbers of endangered animals by licensed individuals and organisations can result in substantial contributions to scientific research.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.
