Bill: Further Deregulation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Voronan Libertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3625
Description[?]:
Our economy is severely regulated and fettered with by the state and governmental organisations. Although we recognise the need of basic regulation on vital sectors that may be subject to corruption if left wholly to the private sector, the deregulations we propose are exclusively for sectors that could very well live without state intervention. Deregulation will allow companies to spawn exponentially in Vorona, each competing for a higher market share, in turn lowering prices and-- provided labour laws are balanced enough-- guarantee a higher quality of life for everyone. |

Message | Are sure the stock markets are going to work unregulated? |
Date | 16:53:33, February 19, 2014 CET | From | Voronan Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Further Deregulation Act |
Message | Stock exchanges will rule themselves instead of the state. The CEOs and Boards of Directors will set their own regulations on what, and to what extent, can and cannot be done. Things like quarterly reports and filings are seen as "requirements" to be listed publicly and any company that doesn't comply with these rules and regulations can be kicked out by the stock exchange's CEO. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
