Bill: Privatisation of the Defense Systems of Vorona Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Voronan Libertarian Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3627

Description[?]:

The PDSVA, or Free Defense Act, aims to end the state monopoly on the arms manufacturing sector, yet refuses to deregulate it to the point that these defense companies can sell arms to any country of the world. Privatising the arms manufacturing sector will cheapen resources for our military and improve our economy as well as its efficiency. There currently is an untapped arms manufacturing market in Vorona, and the VLP wishes to guide it to light. Subsidising the sector, however, defeats the purpose of our ideology.

Random fact: "Kubrk" is a Jelbic word that has the colloquial meaning "old man" or "geezer".

Random quote: "To the youth of America, I say, beware of being trivialized by the commercial culture that tempts you daily. I hear you saying often that you're not turned on by politics. The lessons of history are clear and portentous. If you do not turn onto politics, politics will turn on you." - Ralph Nader
