Voting deadline: February 2164
Description[?]:
Colleagues, In order to re-divide the powers of local and the national government we present our very first Act in the CdH's Unitarian Resolution. By this proposition we wish to rearrange several governemental powers in order to obtain a better policy in advantage of the Likaton citizens. Culture - All authorities concerning culture-policy should be an affair for the local governments as they have a better view on the needs of their citizens. Giving local authorities the power to determine museums&library policies gives them the possibility to let the several sectors work in a 'horizontal' and more efficiënt way as they can 'organize' and develop with mutual projects. Regards. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
