Details

Submitted by[?]: Allied Humanists

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3630

Description[?]:

This bill seeks to protect the upcoming labour force from damage to inner organs as well as possible side effects of substance abuse to the youthful population from ages 0-14 who are not yet able to join our labour force.

This bill also seeks to give sole rights to an individual regarding the transplantation of organs as it is unjust for consent to be "assumed".

MessageMister Speaker,

anyone who doesn't want his or her organs to be used for transplant, can take care of this during his or her lifetime. Organs can only be kept for a couple of hours, thus things have to go fast. We do not have the time to ask permission to the relatives. That means that we will use a near-dead persons organs to help another, unless that first person has filled in a form to refuse his or her organs to be used.

We oppose to the tobacco-bill. We don't want to give more responsibilities to local governments than we think is strictly necessary.

We agree on the alcohol-bill.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Its not a matter of asking permission from relatives ... We believe it is the sole right of that person to allow transplantation of their organs. If they refuse then we'd have to simply look elsewhere.

As it pertains to article on tobacco, we believe that yes it may cause somewhat of a strain on local governments but at the same time we have to consider that different regions may be subject to different norms such as their religion and may deem the outlaw of it offensive to their religion. As such we would leave it to local governments but not necessarily demand they deal with the issue immediately but if/when needed.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Modern Impartialists demonstrate a clear lack of understanding of the current law. Someone's organs will not be harvested while he/she is alive, so we're not sure what the big deal is about. In effect, the law allows a person to declare that they don't want their organs harvested. If they don't declare that before they die, their organs can be harvested as soon as they die. No-one's organs will be harvested while they're alive.

There is only 1 religion in Lodamun, and it doesn't prohibit the smoking of tobacco, so the Modern Impartialists are, as usual, speaking nonsense.

MessageThere is only one RECOGNISED religion in Lodamun and as such the NRG persists in being condescending assholes who don't deserve anyone's attention.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Mr. Williams should check the law. There is an official religion in Lodamun where membership is mandatory by law: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=402289
It is illegal to belong to any other religion so the law doesn't need to facilitate other religions.

The largest religious minority was purged from the country last year during the state of emergency.
