| Official Name: EO-III-167.2 President: Diana Hammond Date: July 27, 3629 ------------------------------------------------- By powers granted to President via the Executive Order Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=359058), I, President Diana Hammond, do hereby enact the following Orders: Article I. - Creation of the Commission on Electoral Financing I. A commission chaired by Leon Bowen shall be created for the purpose of preparing a report to the president on the status of electoral financing and campaign spending. II. The Commission may be refered to as the Bowen Commission. III. The Bowen Commission shall take witnesses on the impact of money in Rutania's democracy and review federal and provincial political fundraising and campaign spending documents. IV. The Bowen Commission shall assess the role third party campaigners play in an electoral campaign. V. The Commission chair shall prepare a report of his findings to the President. Article II. - Legality I. This Order shall take effect immediately and shall be in effect for up to 2 years. II. According to the laws of this land, this Order does not require Parliamentary backing but may be overturned in a subsequent bill by a 2/3rds vote in the Parliament.
