Description[?]:
Currently, education is compulsory in our nation, which we applaud. The education is compulsory till the age of 20. We have had experiences with some youngsters, that happened to be very good craftsmen and were willing to learn a respectful profession. These youngsters didn't like to be at school at a certain moment, since they felt it were better to learn a profession on site. Therefore, we want to lower that age to 18. That's still two years apart from considered adulthood. Kamiel Huysmans Minister of Education and Culture |
