Bill: Pharmaceutical Drug Subsidy

Details

Submitted by[?]: Totalitarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2163

Description[?]:

Presently, poorer citizens are given pharmaceutical drugs for free, and other citizens receive a discount. The Totalitarian Party feels this is unfair. Poor citizens do not deserve any special advantages. Their own indolence is to blame for their lack of wealth. However, we realise the benefits of subsidising the cost of drugs. It reduces the spread of sickness in ghettos, and ensure our nation is not swept by a pandemic originating in those areas where hygiene is a secondary concern. Therefore, we propose the government pays for all citizens drugs.
