Message | Alternatives: *The government does not regulate the quality of drinking water. *Local government is responsible for drinking water quality regulation. *The government sets a single standard to ensure all tap water is drinkable. *The government sets a range of standards dependant on water usage. (grey water regulation, etc.) Thoughts? I would be in favour of either of the latter two but possibly the above moreso. |

Message | Single standard would probably be simpler to implement, although the last one might be easier on energy requirements. We would be happy with either one. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
