Message | Why would religions have to gain governmental approval to advertise themselves? Taxing a religious group as a corporation and then imposing restrictions that would otherwise not apply to any other corporation is wrong. Religious groups are not companies, they receive no consistent income, and even then that income is from charitable donations from the people receiving the service the religious organization provides. Saying a religious organization is a company is like saying the police department is a company. They are services provided to the people and by the people in the form of public interest or voluntary support. Of course I only speak for the opinions of the Partito Teocratico di Istalia. |
