Bill: Extending the postal franchise
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Federalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 3643
Description[?]:
For too long enterprising men and women have been cut out of owning and running a part of our national infrastructure. The National Federalist Party assert that The Post Office has become too big and profligate therefore this break up is needed. The hard workers of this country can run their own franchises. This places more power at the local level which is better for states. This extension should have some government oversight in order to see that businesses are treating this vital artery properly. This sell off would be open to tender and would enrich the government coffers. Some of the money can then be transferred to state governments. |

Message | This legislation doesn't mention local state providers. This merely forces essential infrastructure into the hands of hoarding investors, inevitably creating another form of stasis. For the madness of life to flourish, some based level of stability is needed, and this will only concentrate power into fewer hands. |
