Bill: Cabinet Proposal of May 3641

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3642

Description[?]:

We propose a grand coalition of the right with the Freedom party taking a junior role, taking only a mere 3 of the cabinet posts out of total of 13 (including the Grand Consul). Even we can see the interest of a stable government. For too long have the left, Marxists and 'wets' led a gradual decline of our glorious nation.

MessageA bold suggestion. With the demise of parliamentary liberalism, a smaller voting majority is needed for government. A synthesis of activity is demanded for.

We will take whichever offer responds first. There is no time to waste - the petals have shrivelled and the fruit is ripe for castigation.

MessageAs it stands, this proposal http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=404753 has a stronger majority.

However we note that this option remains on the table should future coalition talks be necessary.

MessageDepending upon how the current government fares, we will reconsider this in future.

Beluzia First's proposal of new elections resonates with us. We would like to see how the voting populace responds to the new political makeup of Beluzia, but let's see what we can do with our current parliament first.
