These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 05:47:31, March 26, 2014 CET | From | Feministas Verdes | To | Debating the XY Chromosome Regulation |
Message | This bill proposes the derecognition of possessors of the XY chromosomes as citizens of The Federal Republic of Beluzia. |
Date | 07:09:09, March 26, 2014 CET | From | New Beluzian Movement | To | Debating the XY Chromosome Regulation |
Message | While we admire the impetuousness and creativity of this bill against the usual placidity, we worry that men losing their citizenship in this manner would reduce the reproductive potential of Beluzians. We stand firmly against a slowdown in birth rates this would cause. |
Date | 22:53:23, March 26, 2014 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the XY Chromosome Regulation |
Message | We cannot support a policy that so discriminates men. This is where 'feminists' and people supporting 'civil rights' really want to take us. |
Date | 09:07:24, March 27, 2014 CET | From | Feministas Verdes | To | Debating the XY Chromosome Regulation |
Message | We are highly disappointed that the New Beluzian Movement is not forthcoming in its support for this bill. While birthrates may decrease in the short term, we intend to propose further bills in the future that would greatly increase birthrates, offsetting any population reduction and potentially leading to a population boom. Furthermore, the radical shift of power that the success of this bill would lead to would no doubt stimulate a great outpouring of artistic expression and potential for the exploration of new and exciting ways of thinking that are well inline with your party's interest in countercultural movements. Let Beluzia be a trailblazer into this new era of enlightenment. |

Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician |
