MessageMr. Speaker,

Our issue with this proposal is that it would be extremely difficult to change the title that refers to the Head of State, who is the same person. Instead of changing the title in the constitution, we could develop parliamentary protocols, including the proper way to address the President.

MessageMr. Speaker,

we could indeed do with some parliamentary protocols.
Maybe we can see that as a start of a potential change later on.
