Bill: Alcohol Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Likatonian Bitter Cynics
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3648
Description[?]:
We're not going to touch the subject of an age restriction for buying alcohol, because seeing stories of idiotic high schoolers and college underclassmen reported dead by alcohol overdose in the papers every day is just too funny to mess with. On the other hand, we think that only those with a licence should be able to sell alcohol, as when we go get 40s of Olde Likatonian at 3 in the morning, we want to make absolute certain that they're genuine. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards alcoholic beverages.
Old value:: Alcoholic beverage regulations are not imposed by the government.
Current: Alcoholic beverages may be purchased and consumed anywhere, but only by adults.
Proposed: Alcoholic beverages may be purchased only from licensed sales outlets, but consumed by anyone.
