Bill: New Coalition Governance Protocol Agreement

Details

Submitted by[?]: Freedom Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 3651

Description[?]:

In this truely great coalition this is about to be formed, as the leading party and Grand Consul, we propose a set of new agreements for the three governing parties when it coms to introducing, debating and voting on bills:

1. All coalition parties have a "free" vote on all opposition party bills.
2. All coalition parties can introduce non-coalition bills at any time, but they have to explicitly define it as a non-coalition bill (i.e. Freedom Party Bill on x, National Federalist Party Bill on y, Stanton House Bill on z, etc).
3. All non-coalition bills are "free" votes for coalition members
4. It is encouraged that coalition parties introduce bills focused around their own government departments and ministers, but they are not restricted to outside their remit.
5. When proposing a coaltion bill it must have the agreement of all three coalition parties to move to a vote.
6. Not voicing opposition or wanting compromises during the debate stage of the bill will be regarded as support for the bill.
7. If no opposition or support for a coalition bill is given during the debate stage, after 6 months, the bill will go to a vote.
8. If all coalition parties agree to the bill in the debate stage it goes straight to a vote before the 6 month deadline.
9. If coalition parties voice opposition, the bill cannot pass to a vote until an agreement can be made.

MessageOOC: Full veto powers over what? This is a coalition agreement between the three governing parties. Opposition parties won't fall under this agreement.
