His Holiness Caliph Khalid I orders that:

We have come to a decision about who shall be our heir and the procession to be followed, upon our passing from this earth.

Section 1
This decree shall amend the provisions of the Basic Law and the Royal Decree 3651/02 : Succession Laws.

Section 2
The succession to the office of Caliph is hereby invested solely in proven Seyyeds (descendants of the Prophet Ahmad)

Section 3
The reigning Caliph shall nominate, at his discretion an heir to his positions from amongst eligible Seyyeds.
Only religiously observant Seyyeds of good character, shall be eligible for the post

Section 4
In the event of a vacancy in both the post of Caliph and the heir, the Shura will elect a new Caliph according to Ahmadi principles and those laid down in this Decree..

Section 5
The Shura shall be made up of 77 members. 40 shall represent the tribal leadership, 32 shall represent the clergy, 5 shall represent the cities. All members have to be observant and devout Ahmadis and also men of good character

Section 6
The Shura may reject a nominated heir for the Caliphal position if it deems him to be unworthy of the position. The Shura has to work based on consensus and voting shall only be allowed if the Shura remains deadlocked after seven days of deliberation.

Section 7
We hereby nominate our brother, Bandar bin Ahmed as heir to our all posts upon our demise.
