Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2164
Description[?]:
We understand this bill has a very slim marigin of success in our nation but we, in the Redneck party, feel that this bill needs to be seriously considering. Currently in our nation it is against the law for any police officer to "Torture" a prisoner. Well we do not want to make it a common praticte for our prisoners to be Tortured without reason however we feel that in grave situations that we should be able to obtain information from suspects from any means neccessary. Chris Seidl, our current minister of Justice has proposed a list of several examples of times when Torture would be allowed by this bill. 1. A terriostic group is our nation planning to make a large scale terrositic attack on us, and we have one member of them and we have two hours to prevent this attack from taking place and we have no clue where it is going to take place or what the attack is, we just know that there is going to be an attack. 2. A serial rapist and killer has been captured but their is a little girl who has not been found and the justice department feels that the girl might still be alive, however, they have no clue on how to find the little girl. |

Message | 'Torture is a flawed method of obtaining knowledge. The only true and pure form of knowledge comes from God himself, not from his the torturing of Gods children. Allowing torture will only give us flawed information, not knowledge. None of Gods children should be harmed in such a manner.' - The Prophet DaVida |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
