| Message | Teachers should be able to use some kind of discipline; it is only in recent history that they have gotten soft and children are coddled rather than punished. Parents who enrol their children in private schools pay their taxes too. It is only fair that taxpayer funding is allocated to these schools as well. We would possibly be open to home schooling, but then these students would be required to write standardised tests. |

| Message | This allows them to discipline but by denetention or expulsion, non violent forms of discipline. A teacher should not be allowed to hit a student. Yes they do pay taxes too. However we believe separation of church and stat, taxpayer dollars should not fund religious schools. Not all taxpayers have same religious views. We can work on this one. What do you mean by writing tests? Do you mean being required to pass same national standards then we can agree on that. |

| Message | We applaud the UAP's proposals to reform the education system. Homeschooling is a viable alternative to public schools, as are charter schools.
