MessageWe do not want 750. We see the need potentially for an increase from 55*5 = 275 seats to possibly a maximum of 75 seats per region ~ 375 seats. We think that 70 seats per region ~ 350 seats is probably optimal.

Message100 seats per region is apt. 500 total.

It allows for the proportionality of votes to be best counted during elections

MessageI fail to understand Labour's argument that 100 seats per region ~ 500 seats allows best for proportionality. Why not any factor of 25? We will support 400 at an absolute maximum. We recognize efforts to increase representation but ultimately worry at the cost of each politician. We note that when Labour tried to pass this last, it failed when I compromised on 400 (I think) seats total. I strongly suggest that as two-thirds of votes are neeeded, we strive to move in the right direction as opposed to being overly ambitious at the expense of tangible results.
