Bill: Selucia Freedom and Democracy Support Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Zardio Federisma Partio

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3662

Description[?]:

Given recent events in Selucia, the Government of Zardugal feels it can no longer sit idly by and watch liberty and human rights in Selucia be violated. Therefore the Government proposes the following measures:
-The Zardic Government will call upon the Majatran Union to condemn and use reasonable pressure to ensure human rights are respected.
-The Zardic Government condemns the communist dictatorship and calls for new and free elections under international observation.
-The Zardic Government will offer asylum and refuge for all those who are persecuted in Selucia on the basis on religion, political affiliation or who fear imprisonment given the severe violations of the rule of law.

While we do not actively call for forced regime change, we call on the political forces of Selucia to end this state of affairs and allow respect for human rights.
