Message | If a person is willing to spend the time and money developing software that work should have the protection of patent, (where sought). Anything else is to effectively legalise theft! |

Message | Actually its what we like to call profit share, you make it and you share it and you get the rewards for it. So much better then placing a patent on it and then a bunch of underground people getting it and giving it away because your the bad guy. |

Message | But hte patent option should be allowed if that is the road the inventor wishes to follow. |

Message | We understand that it may be the inventors choice...but we need a free flow of information...restrictions are seen as disfavor to the people, next youll be wanting to regulate tv and radio...weither thats your next step or not is not for the PRP to question, but the people have there own opinions, and in an election there opinions count. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
