In the name of Akim, the most compassionate, the most Merciful:

Article 1
This nation declares itself to be a Majatran Ahmadi Caliphate (a successor state to the state established by the Prophet himself) and the source of law shall be from the teachings of the Ahmadi faith as recited by the Last Prophet, Ahmad.

Article 2
A Caliph shall be nominated from the Community to lead the Caliphate and act as the successor to the last Messenger. He shall be the Chief Judge, Legislator and Governor of the Community.

Article 3
The Shura shall elect the Caliph, based on the recommendation of the preceding Caliph.

Article 4
The Caliph shall make all executive appointments, nominate members of the Shura and make law through Royal Decrees. He shall be bound by tradition and Ahmadi law.

Article 5
The Caliph may declare Jihad on any nation that threatens the unity, progress and stability of the Community. He may also issue fatwas against individuals who threaten the Ahmadi Community.

Article 6
The Shura may remove from office a Caliph who has gone insane, become an apostate or disdainful of tradition.

Article 7
Candidacy to the office of Caliph shall be extended only to Seyyeds (Descendants of the Prophet) These must be of good repute and also religiously observant. They also have to exhibit minimal understanding of Ahmadi law (fiqh)

Article 8
No taxes shall be imposed unless in the case of need. A Khums shall be demanded of each Ahmadi citizen totaling one fifth of all annual income.

Article 9
The State is charged to ensure the basic material welfare of all members of the Community and to use natural resources for the good of the Community only.
