Of 394 officers arrested. 379 have been found guilty of the following crimes > Treason (organising an insurrection against the Caliphate) > Espionage (selling state and military secrets to certain enemy regimes) > Misuse of military funds. > Theft and misuse of military property. > Misuse of government funds In our capacity as Chief Judge of the Community, we have decided to sentence 218 of the officers to death, 85 to life imprisonment and 76 to varied sentences ranging from dishonorable discharge, removal of limbs, 250 lashes and up to 25 years imprisonment. For especially grievous crimes to the Caliphate, we have sentenced the former Ministers Gen. Ali Miyatah and Gen. Umar al-Nouri to stoning until they are dead, at the Central Public Square in al-Kasraj. The dog Miyatah is believed to have embezzled from the Defence Department as much as 300 million LOD in the past six years while al-Nouri is believed to have stolen around 100 million LOD from the Science&Tech Department in the past four years. - As a measure of clemency the dogs due to be executed by stoning shall not get the 600 lashes that were to be part of their punishment - We shall also appoint replacements to all these traitors from proven Ahmadi men of spirit and bravery. Caliph Mukrin ibn Ahmed |
