| With a view to improving the state of our economy and elevating the status of the subjects of His Excellency the Sublime Lord Caliph Mukrin bin Ahmed, and thereby glorifying the Razama Caliphate and its illustrious leader, the Shura humbly petitions His Excellency to decree: - That His Excellency's Treasury shall henceforth levy a 10% tax on essential goods, a reduction from the current rate of 20%, - That the exchange rate of the KAF shall henceforth be allowed to fluctuate between 95% and 105% of the value prescribed by the government, - That foreign investments shall henceforth be permitted with the approval of His Excellency or any person or persons appointed by His Excellency, and - That workers shall henceforth no longer be required to obtain union membership. |

| Message | To the Honorable Shura These principles behind these proposals are devilish! We as stewards of the nation's economic health cannot allow Artanian speculators a chance to play games with our currency at cost to the Community. Allowing those motivated only by profit and greed to invest in companies such as Kafuri Oil will reduce profits and threaten social programs. Article 4, we could work with. Article 1 mean a reduction in revenue and threaten our Sovereign Wealth Fund, kept for the benefit of the Community. Due to the above reasons, we reject this petition. Caliph Mukrin ibn Ahmed |
