| Brother and Sisters, In the name of Akeem, Sultan Ameer I has issued another edict demanding that the Republic swear their loyalty and fidelity towards his institution and himself. The Supreme Court, with the support of the military, has reviewed this edict and has declared it valid, and now has been sent to this legislative assembly to be voted upon. Upon the passing of this bill, Jakania's president will be the official representative of Sultan Ameer I until Jakania's stability is restored. Once stability is restored, Jakania will abolish the office of the President and adopt a constitutional monarchy. The proposed role of the President: *Executive authority will exercised by the President on behalf of the Sultan on the strict advice of the Prime Minister. *Appoint the cabinet on behalf of the Sultan on the strict advice of the Prime Minister. *Appoint Judges on behalf of the Sultan. *Sign bills into law on behalf of the Sultan. Brothers and Sisters this bill will decide the future of Jakania. Supreme Judge, Supreme Speaker, Custodian of Jakanian and Turjak Law, Abdul al-Rahsid Mustafah. |
