Message | Mr. Speaker, We ask that Solidarity support allowing the corporation tax revert back to 0%. As it stands right now, Rutania is tied for 8th out of the 13 countries in Artania in terms of corporation taxes. Countries like Ibutho (0%), Luthori (10%) and Aloria (13%) have lower rates than we do and we cannot compete with them. Thus, we propose lowering the corporation tax over a twenty year period via increments of 5 percent every 10 years as a way to slowly adjust to the changes. In doing so, this means Rutania would also have to lower its spending in order to ensure it doesn't have a budget deficit, although this can be discussed and worked out at any time.
