Bill: Renaming 'Republic' to 'Federation'

Details

Submitted by[?]: National People's Front (NPF)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3673

Description[?]:

A Federation is a political entity characterized by a union of partially self-governing states or regions under a central (federal) government. In a federation, the self-governing status of the component states, as well as the division of power between them and the central government, are typically constitutionally entrenched and may not be altered by a unilateral decision of either party, the states or the federal political body.

HEREBY CALLS FOR:

Changing 'Republic of Aloria' to 'Federation of Aloria'

Federation fits Aloria a lot better, see the definition above, self governing states led by a one Central Gov't.

MessageWhat I predict:

AIP - I know you love the idea of Local Governments having more power, well here you go
UCP - This has a lot of features of Conservatism and letting the states have power.
ARPP - I'm not 100% sure on your ideals but if you agree with not having the Government own everything, and letting the states be in charge this if for you!

ANP and LP - I'm not sure what you guys think about this, but honestly without political differences this fits Aloria more than Republic right now considering matching the definitions.

Message(OCC: One last thing to add :), under cultural protocols we are classified as a German/Welsh mix, currently Germany is a Federation, meaning this matches up with Aloria and this is how we should be according to the CP)
