Bill: Withdrawal from Convention Agasint Torture Treaty

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3673

Description[?]:

"I don't like the idea of it more than anyone else but Congressman, it is an effectieve tool in getting vital information to stop national security risks. Its not humane to stand by and not to try to prevent a terrorist attack when your in the position to do so. However; I do believe regulation is needed once this treaty is withdrawn from, I will propose a bill allowing it for vital information of national security risks only, and any other regulations we as a collective body agree too"Linda Meyers, Foreign Affairs Seceteary, part of testimony to Congress.
