| There are no recorded ill-effects of GM crops. They are perfectly safe. Mandatory labelling for GMOs can scare consumers into thinking there's something wrong with them, impose costs on producers and get in the way of supply-chain efficiency, Let us make food cheaper for the poor and revoke the necessity to label GMOs. Chemicals are still a necessity because of possible allergies. Producers can still, if they so wish, label their product GMO free, but it won't be mandatory. |
