Bill: The Prometheus Settlement

Details

Submitted by[?]: Harakat al-Khilāfah

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3675

Description[?]:

Ours is a national of many religions and sects. As part of the Caliphate, religion is an important thing. The Caliph, in his boundless grace has offered to:

> act as protector of religions other than his own Ahmadism. These religions have to be of the Book, any other will not get any such protection.
> The religious communities are free to appoint ministers of faith but only with the approval of the Caliph through his agent, the Khedive.
> Ahmadism is to be declared the official religion but none shall be driven or forced to abandon his current faith.
> as for religious question e.g. blasphemy, the religious communities shall decide freely on their own.

We have come to these conclusions after consulting with religious leaders from all faiths at Prometheus.

Prince Ubaydullah al-Razama
Khedive of al-Najd
