Message"As things stand, this bill is less a protection of minority rights in case of a change of government, but more a protection of the reactionary and authoritarian policies that the parties that have been in government for most of the past 35 years have been following, as makes it harder to overturn within any reasonable time frame the limitations of civil rights and discriminatory policies introduced by those parties throughout their term of office."

Message"The UDT's comments are, frankly, nonsense. This piece of legislation has been proposed at the very beggining of the current legislature precisely to restrict the ability of the majority - any majority - to subvert the traditions that have made Tukarali the great country that it is today. We agree that an easement of the restrictive policies of the past decades is necessary - but it should be done prudently and gingerly."
