Message | Mr. Speaker, we cannot agree with a tax cut on luxury goods. We sincerely hope you've taken the time to do some calculations. Also, since certain laws predict that one has to be of a certain religion, being nationalism, we find it very inconvenient not to register the religion of our nationals. Vince Urbain P&A chairman |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The party, which showed that it has no knowledge of Lodamun's economy, wants to change Lodamun's economy. Have these idiots become geniuses overnight? http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=409645 They haven't told us what the changes to the budget will be if this bill is passed: http://classic.particracy.net/budget.php?nationid=19 The proposed changes in taxes will cut our revenue by over 36,000,000,000 LOD, which is almost 34% of our revenue. This will send us into severe debt, which will drive op our demand for other currencies and devalue our own. Lodamun's currency will no longer be the strongest national currency in the world, and we would have the 2nd highest debt in the world. The Federalists haven't told us what they will do to prevent us from going into debt. They haven't told us whether they intend for budget cuts to be made. They claim that the bill will be "for the benefit of citizens and the economy" without telling us how. For a free market party, they could have proposed to change the law on DWCs to state that "The government does not intervene in the marketplace with regards to Democratic Workers' Councils" but they want to entirely ban DWCs instead. We know that the PPFD supports free market policies, and would support certain articles of this bill, but we ask them to consider how realistic this bill is before supporting it. -- Kristov DeKarav XII, Finance Minister |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We do support most of the articles, but the previous speakers have a point. We are in favor of lowering taxes, but this is a very drastic cut in our budget, that should first be changed to make this possible. We do not support article 5, and agree with the reasoning of the GNRG. If a company wants to be run by a DWC, they should be. The government mustn't intervene. If the Federalists propose a budget change and modify article 5, we will vote in favor of this proposal. Message | Mr. Speaker, This bill will cut the government's revenue by 36,000,000,000 LOD. We are not in favour of a deficit budget. The GNRG has kept Lodamun's budget balanced for hundreds of years. So far, the only proposed budget cut is by 20,700,000,000 LOD: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=409848 We will still end up having a budget deficit of approximately 15,300,000,000 LOD, which would be the 3rd highest budget deficit in the entire world. -- Kristov DeKarav XII, GNRG Spokesman on Finance |
