Bill: Public clinics

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3676

Description[?]:

Public clinics are the best way to ensure that each and every one of our citizens gets the medical care they deserve. We believe that focussing on private clinics will only enlarge the gap between the upper and the working class.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We are not inclined to support this bill, we could however support it as part of a compromise.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The law was already recently changed: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=408861
We will confuse the people if we try to pull the nation into different directions. Polarization is the last thing we want.

We should also consider that the budget might be cut soon: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=409867
The proposed law, to have public clinics re-opened, is more expensive than the recently-implemented law where the state pays for the healthcare of citizens with low incomes.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
