Description[?]:
It has long been a source of concern for the Orange Alliance that Foreign representatives on our soil can flout our laws without response. However we do see the strength in diplomatic immunity. Therefore we recommend a halfway measure by which Foreign representatives are libel to be held account for civil lawsuits and expelled from our shores in the event of proven criminal activity. This is fair, and is by no means a step towards isolationism. We would whole heartedly accept the same measures applied to our representatives on foreign shores. Message | We am not sure whether the Alliance's representative is aware of the very basic reason why this law exists in many countries on Terra, but we can possibly enlighten her: It is about nothing but the functionality of every diplomatic corps around the world. Diplomats and their assistants are supossed to deal with diplomatic affairs, sometimes more, sometimes less delicate. We cannot really see how this can still be guaranteed if they have to deal with civil lawsuits all day long, especially when it turns out that he did not do anything in the end. |
