Bill: Legislative Members Justice Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Orange Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 3677
Description[?]:
There is simply no sense is giving immunity to members of this house whilst in office. We need to set the standard of justice and law expected in this country - not hide behind members immunity. A crime is a crime. A broken law is a broken law. A citizen is a citizen whether or not they hold position in this house. All must follow the law, all must receive justice. Sarojini Kumal, MRDK, Leader of the Orange Alliance |
