| Members of the Royal Assembly, It is very rare for our nation to involve ourselves in foreign affairs outside of Dovani, however there is an increasingly concerning situation emerging in Majatra. The Queranzist Caliphate, based out of Kafuristan, has a clear mission to put its neighbors into submission as it attempts a quest a united Queranzists of the world. The most recent victim of the expanding religious state is Kalopia. Native Kalopians have been labeled as terrorists and it is believed the Caliphate is guided by a extremist form of Queranzist; and if not extremist, it is undoubtedly a radical expansionist creed. The Foreign Ministry has taken particular interest in this growing problem in regards to the potential impacts on the Queranzist populations in Dovani. We are in the final negotiations on the Treaty of Soleynka and Dankuk will soon oversee some territories that have Queranzist minority populations. Our own territory aside, there are the populations in Talmoria and areas of colonial Indrala. The Caliphate seems driven by a goal for Queranzist unity under one authority. If that is the reality, this is inevitably a threat to Dovani, especially if the Caliphate is successful. For all the reasons I have brought to you today, we issue a condemnation of the Razamid Caliphate and call upon the regime to cease its expansionist foreign policy. We additionally demand that the Caliphate cease its resettlement of Kafuri citizens to Kalopia. --- MOON Hwanjoon Minister of Foreign Affairs ::: <<SECRET>> MEMO BY MINISTER MOON ::: I have directed the Office of Dovanian Peace & Security to explore our possible options for supporting the Central Majatran Revolutionary Organisation (KMEO). The Foreign Ministry's preference is to deliver monetary aid and that should be the easiest method of assistance. It's possible our financing could be discovered eventually, but it won't look as bad as if we directly supplied Dankukin weapons. As it stands its not a violent movement; however, in time will probably have no choice but to attack the Caliphate. Violent or non-violent, it's not our concern. We need to suppress these Queranzists before they ever find any infatuation among Dovanian Queranzists. |
