Bill: Alcohol and Tobacco Reform Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Orange Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3678
Description[?]:
Within our constitution - despite attempts of the Orange Alliance to ban it - Cannabis is regulated by local government. Whilst we cannot and will not support cannabis use, we can at least make sense of our system by granting the same powers over alcohol and tobacco to our local authorities. Lets begin the process of decentralizing many aspects of governance which are best overseen and monitored at a local level. Lucy Almond, Orange Alliance Health Spokesperson |

Message | We can and will not encourage a further decentralisation. The nation and the people of Dorvik are still considered to be united, and clearing the way for regional differences to increase is not going to happen as long as we have the power to oppose it. |
Date | 21:41:08, June 08, 2014 CET | From | Orange Alliance | To | Debating the Alcohol and Tobacco Reform Bill |
Message | The centralised policies of this government do not match up. We have a President and Cabinet from one party sat in power in Haldor holding all the cards and refusing to let the people decide their own fate, whilst lording it over the nation with a constitution riddled with contradictions. It is time this government woke up and smelled reality. Change is coming and the electorate in all their wisdom will show what they think. |

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed). |
